Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a space to understand the outworn behavioral patterns and inner conflicts that may be keeping you stuck or disconnected from yourself. Together, we explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop a more reliable relationship with your own feelings, needs, and sense of direction.
Reasons people reach out
People come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, slow self-esteem, problems and questions around sexuality, grief, illness, identity questions, or a sense that life has become smaller than it should be. Often, the starting concern opens into a deeper process of reconnecting with voice, choice, and self-trust.
How we work together
Our work will include exploring different parts of yourself, understanding sometimes unconscious interpersonal patterns, and noticing how emotions show up in the body. I bring a relational approach, seeing myself as a partner in the work, creating a space where painful patterns can be understood and transformed rather than judged or pushed away.
Sessions are available in person in Manhattan or Dobbs Ferry, or by video for clients located in New York. Frequency can be discussed based on your needs and the kind of work you are seeking.
